Woody Guthrie Meets the Sun

“Woody Guthrie Meets the Sun" is a multimedia space folk opera that follows Mr. Guthrie as he reflects on his earthly life and works, then transcends his corporeal existence to embark on a heavenly journey through the solar system to finally meet and shake hands with the sun. Sections of the work have been performed in Ithaca, New York; Berlin, Germany; and Los Angeles, California.
